Zach Hansmann, Ph.D., CSP, CHMM, ARM - The Hansmann Group

Dr. Zach Hansmann is the Contractor Safety Manager and an Adjunct Construction Management Faculty Member at a large public university. He previously served as the Environmental Coordinator for the University, where he was responsible for campus-wide compliance with asbestos, lead, and other hazardous material requirements. Zach maintains Board Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM). He is the Executive Secretary/Treasurer and a member of the Construction Safety Division for the Michigan Safety Conference, is a member of the Greater Lansing Chapter of ASSP, and is an authorized OSHA outreach instructor. He holds degrees in Human Biology (BS), Construction Management (MS), and  Planning, Design, and Construction (Ph.D.), with a research focus on the owner's involvement in construction safety.
