FLS, Inc. dba Foreign Language Services, is a full service translation bureau, headquartered in Huntsville, AL, but doing business all over the state of Alabama, the Southeast and across the U.S. and abroad. FLS, in business since 1979, translates into and from over eighty languages.  We are a C-Corporation and classified as a small women owned business, certified through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, Southern Division. WBENC is a recognized certifying authority by the Small Business Administration.

FLS' thirty-four year experience base spans many communication services: translation of written documents; oral simultaneous and consecutive interpretation in all settings, including the courtroom and ancillary legal settings; placement of bilingual translators and interpreters for short and long term assignments; layout in a professional software for publishable documents; transcription of foreign language tapes and audios for legal purposes, and the translation of those texts; voiceovers; and corporate language courses that are customized for each client.

In every job, the emphasis is on service and quality.  Our three core values highlight this emphasis: excellence in every job, brought about through a customized process for each customer, which includes a 100% edit and proofing of all written work; communication with the customer and translation team, facilitated by the FLS in house project managers; and professionalism in our relationships with our customers, our translation team and in the level of service that we offer.

Our customer base is widespread.  We have national federal contracts with, for example, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; the Department of Justice; state contracts, such as with the Department of Human Resources in Alabama, the Superior Court of Maricopa County in Phoenix, AZ, and corporate clients who do business internationally, located here in Huntsville and throughout the Southeast.  We work for publishing houses, legal firms, school systems, hospitals and medical clinics, Department of Defense contractors, international corporations, and manufacturers who sell products internationally. We assist individuals nationwide in the certified translations they may need for legal purposes.
