Dr. Kian Raiszadeh is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine, sub-specialized in shoulder and knee surgery, experienced in trauma care, a spine expert, and the founder of SpineZone, which focuses on non-operative orthopedic and spine treatment.
Dr. Raiszadeh is based in San Diego, CA, and has over 22 years of experience in the medical field. He is sub-specialized in sports medicine and trauma, with additional expertise in shoulder and knee surgery, as well as non-operative spine care.
He graduated from UC Berkeley in 1998 and earned his medical degree from UC San Diego in 2002. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Rutgers University in New Jersey in 2007, followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego. After seven years as a Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon at Kaiser Permanente, he practiced for five years as an Orthopedic Traumatologist in San Francisco.
Dr. Raiszadeh also founded SpineZone, a company dedicated to non-operative orthopedic care. He served as CEO for nine years, guiding the company's growth and maintaining its focus on a holistic approach to orthopedic health. SpineZone has served over 150,000 patients and is contracted with major health plans and health systems across the country.
